Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains how refunds, cancellations, and the statutory right of withdrawal work for AriseNote.

1. Free Trial

AriseNote may offer a 7-day free trial for new users.

The free trial is free, so there is no refund for the trial period.

You may use only one free trial per person and per Notion workspace. Creating multiple accounts to get additional free trials is not allowed.


2. Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by emailing us at support@arisenote.com.

After cancellation:

  • your subscription remains active until the end of the current paid billing period;
  • you will not be charged again;
  • your account is not automatically deleted.

If you want your account deleted, you can request deletion separately.


3. 14-Day Withdrawal Right

If you are a consumer in the EU, EEA, or UK, you have the right to withdraw from a paid subscription within 14 days without giving any reason.

The 14-day period starts on the date your payment is processed.

To withdraw, email us at:

support@arisenote.com

Please include:

  • your AriseNote account email;
  • payment date or transaction ID, if available;
  • a clear statement that you want to withdraw or request a refund.

Example:

  • Payment date: January 1, 2026
  • Withdrawal deadline: January 15, 2026

You must send your withdrawal request before the end of the withdrawal period.


4. Immediate Access to the Digital Service

AriseNote is a digital service. After payment, access to the paid Service may begin immediately.

By using the paid Service during the 14-day withdrawal period, you expressly request that we begin providing the Service before the withdrawal period expires.

If you withdraw after the paid Service has already started, we may deduct a proportionate amount for the Service already provided, where permitted by law.

We may choose to provide a full refund in some cases, but this does not create a general right to full refunds beyond your statutory rights.


5. Refund Processing

If your refund is approved, we will refund you using the same payment method you used for the original payment, unless we agree otherwise.

For statutory withdrawal refunds, we will process the refund without undue delay and no later than 14 calendar days after receiving your withdrawal request.

Your bank or payment provider may need additional time to show the refund in your account.


6. Consequences of Refund

If you receive a refund:

  • your paid subscription will end;
  • access to paid features will be removed;
  • your account may be closed;
  • your Notion integration may be disconnected;
  • you will not receive another free trial for the same person or Notion workspace.

You may re-subscribe later, but a new free trial is not guaranteed.


7. Billing Errors and Duplicate Charges

If you believe you were charged by mistake or charged more than once, contact us at:

support@arisenote.com

Billing errors and duplicate charges are not subject to the 14-day limit. If we confirm an error, we will correct it or issue a refund.


8. Chargebacks

Please contact us before filing a chargeback. We can usually resolve billing issues faster.

If you file a chargeback, we may temporarily suspend your account while the dispute is investigated.

We do not penalize legitimate chargebacks, such as unauthorized charges, fraud, or billing errors. However, abusive or fraudulent chargebacks may result in account termination.
